COYOTE CANYON

Coyote Canyon Elementary School is located in the eastern  region of Rancho Cucamonga and serves students in grades transitional kindergarten through grade four following a traditional calendar.  At the beginning of 2015-2016 school year, 754 students were enrolled at Coyote Canyon.

PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES

• Instructional Support- providing targeted differentiated instruction in Language Arts for students of all academic levels in K-4.

• AR(Accelerated Reader) – utilizing our library and technology, accessed from both home and school, to motivate students to read and develop vital  language skills

• Study Trips–providing a wide variety of off-campus learning opportunities for students at every grade level

• Cross Country Coyotes– promoting health and fitness through a school-wide before school walking/running program

• After School Sports and Music Programs -  this year we will be offering choir, soccer and track for our 4th grade students

• 21st Century Learning– use of Smart Board technology in every classroom and increased access to one-on-one devices for our students

• PE and Music Education– offering enhancement of our core academic program

• Family Nights and Special Events– encouraging fun and family involvement on and off the school campus. 

• Attendance Challenges– motivating students to continue their achievement of being on time and at school every da

• Teacher Collaboration– providing innovative activities uniquely suited for students at every grade level
