Hello Coyote Canyon Elementary School Community!

I am Clarisse Sy Su, and I am honored to join Coyote Canyon Elementary School as your Assistant Principal. I am passionate about empowering our students to find their joy and confidence in learning and preparing them for the global community. I feel so lucky to be able to serve this fantastic school alongside Mr. Boulden, and I am excited to meet every one of you!

In the past twelve years, I have had the privilege of teaching students and leading staff in various roles from elementary to middle school. My journey began in a bilingual school in Spain, followed by teaching 2nd grade in Los Angeles. Since 2019, I have been a part of the Central School District family, teaching 3rd through 5th grade in Central Elementary School and Math Intervention for 6th through 8th grade in Cucamonga Middle School. My classroom experience includes supporting teachers with engaging standards-based instruction, mentoring new teachers, leading trainings on using data for planning next steps, and advising staff on ways to build positive relationships with all students. This year, I completed and earned my Administrative Services Credential with a Masters in Educational Leadership, further enhancing my ability to serve our school community.

I am excited to nourish each student's growth to broaden their horizons and help them realize the power of their voices at Coyote Canyon, where "Every child is valued, challenged, and successful...whatever it takes." Please feel free to say hello and have a chat. You will find me out and about during morning drop-off, around campus, and dismissal. I look forward to building a team with you so our students can grow in their behavioral, social, and academic success!
