Good Evening Cucamonga Middle School Parents and Guardians!
We have a few important announcements: Please be aware that Monday, January 18th is Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday and there will be no school that day. Parent-Teacher Conferences are also that week, starting on Tuesday, January 19th; your student’s teachers will contact you to arrange an online conference if it is necessary. Free breakfasts and lunches are still being provided by the district at any school site on Mondays and Wednesdays for pick-up between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Finally, a reminder that we are trying to protect the health of you and our school employees by limiting foot traffic into our school office as much as possible. Please first call us at (909) 987-1788 before you come to the school to see if we can help you remotely. We hope you have a healthy and happy evening!


Distance learning resumes January 4th. We look forward to welcoming our students to 2021 on Monday!

Hello CMS Families
This Friday, December 18th, the school day will be an Asynchronous Day. Teachers will be assigning classwork for students on Friday to complete by a certain deadline. Please be sure your student follows their teacher's instruction on how to complete these assignments for each class first thing Friday morning. It will be imperative that each student completes the assignments as it will be used to take their attendance for the day.
We hope you are looking forward to the Winter Break that begins Monday, December 21st through Friday, January 1st. We will see your student back in Zoom classes on Monday, January 4th.

This is to inform you that this Friday, December 18th, your students will be provided an asynchronous, independent assignment to complete for all of their classes but will not be meeting with any teachers on Zoom. Attendance on that day will be taken by teachers using the completion of their posted assignments. Please be sure to remind your students to complete their teachers’ assignments for Friday, posted as their teachers normally would.

Currently enrolled CMS families- we need your help.
The California Department of Education is requiring all districts to collect additional information from all enrolled students to ensure continued funding for many of our supplemental programs including elementary counselors, full-time health clerks, elementary music and PE programs, and after school sports. In addition, these supplemental funds are used to provide intervention specialist and intervention programs at every school site. To ensure the continuity of these essential programs we need all parents to complete the additional portion of data confirmation in the Aeries Parent Portal.
How to help- Visit Cucamonga Middle School’s web page and click on the Parent tab. You will find Aeries Parent Portal, click on that and sign in. You will see the Student Info tab, click that and click on Data Conformation, fill out these few questions. That is all. The only thing is, we need this done NO LATER THAN December 11th.

Good Morning Cucamonga Middle School Parents and Guardians! This is Julie McKissick, CMS assistant principal. First, I want to profoundly thank all of you who have already completed your data confirmation! If you have not, please take a few minutes and do it today! The CA State will be using this specific information to provide data for ALL of our supplemental school programs, such as ELA and Math Intervention. Simply go to our school's website front page, look at the left side of the screen, and the words, "click here"; you will be guided through the question process. We need your help. To ensure the continuity of these essential programs, we need all parents to complete an additional portion of data confirmation in the Aeries parent portal. Please log in to your Aeries parent portal and complete the additional questions under "Income." It is the same process as when data confirmation was completed at the start of the year, but if you need assistance please refer to your school website for directions.
We are on a tight timeline and need this step completed by Friday, December 11th. We sincerely appreciate your timely response to this request. It should only take a few minutes of your time to help us ensure continued funding for many of our much-needed programs for our students and families.
