As a reminder, please call the office at 987 1788, and we will record the reason for the absence. Students are still responsible for any missed assignments. Last year we did a PINK OUT DAY and encouraged students and staff to wear pink for BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH!
We met on the blacktop and had a drone take a picture of us.
This Friday, Oct 23rd is WEAR IT PINK DAY!
While we can't get together to do this amazing picture, we still can rock the pink and share our pictures!
So this Friday send in a picture to Mrs. Perrette, email jperrette@csd.k12.ca.us or tag cms_cougar_pride on Instagram for your photo to be shared.
**Please remember school dress code still applies**
Good Evening CMS Parents & Guardians,
This is a reminder that the end of the trimester is this Friday, October 23rd, and report cards are going to be mailed home on October 30th. It is imperative that you update your current address through data confirmation; the link can be easily found on the front page of our Cucamonga Middle School website on the upper left-hand side. You will also see there a short list of other required forms for school; many students are still missing this important information. Please take a few minutes to complete these electronic forms. Finally, a big, “Thank You!” to all of you who call the school office to report absences, even if for only one period, for any reason at: (909) 987-1788.
We are handing out planners again today from 11am-1pm and 1:30pm-3:30pm.
Also, if you have been contacted to pick up a math book, "The Outsides" or your pre-order spirit gear those are available for pick up at these times.
Good Afternoon CMS Parents & Guardians,
We miss seeing your students in person and know that there have been many challenges for students and families during Distance Learning. A few key ways you can help your students succeed in school right now are to make sure that they have a quiet and consistent place in your home in which to participate in their classes, and to keep them accountable for attending every class, each and every day. Thank you for your crucial involvement in your student’s education.
Additionally, the end of the trimester is quickly approaching. Report cards will be mailed home. It is very important to make sure that we have your current address. You can update your information under the “data confirmation” link which can be found on the Cucamonga Middle School website’s front page, on the upper left side of the screen.
Thank you!

During this time of Distance Learning, your children are at home logging into 4 classes per day. Now, more than ever, is a crucial time to ensure our children are receiving the best education possible. Parents, this may be a challenging time for you to be sure your children have a quiet workspace, their computer, and all the necessary supplies to complete schoolwork for the day, but know that this will not last forever. School hours are from 8 am to 2:20 pm Monday thru Thursday and 8:50 am to 2:40 pm on Fridays. Attendance is so vital during this time. Be sure to call the office to excuse your child's absence due to tech/connectivity issues, etc. It is so important that your child logs into every class everyday. On behalf of CMS, we thank you for working hard to ensure this occurs daily. Teachers are working hard as well to be sure your child receives the best education they will need to be successful. We miss all of you and we hope you have a great weekend!
Attention All Cougar Parents: We know you are all very busy, but it is VERY IMPORTANT for ALL parents to complete REQUIRED FORMS for the school year; the links can be found on the left side of the front page of our CMS website: School Meals Application ("free meals for all" could end when funding runs out); Health Form; Residency Questionnaire; Medi-Cal Form; &; Data Confirmation. THANK YOU!!
