The last couple of weeks have been extremely busy with staff and teachers putting together distribution packets for students, several containing special, "Do Not Open till Valentine's" bags! Thank you, parents and guardians for stopping by to pick up what your children will need for their upcoming lessons. We are so appreciative of the true team approach everyone is taking during Distance Learning!

Third graders in Mrs. Crocker's class took a virtual field trip to outer space. Nickelodeon teamed up with two astronauts on the International Space Station to demonstrate how slime reacts to microgravity and had kids reproduce those same demonstrations back here on Earth.
They began their virtual field trip 250 miles above the earth aboard the International Space Station. On the ISS, students learned along with the astronauts as they demonstrated how slime reacts to microgravity compared to how water reacts in the same environment. Their favorite moment was the astronauts playing ping pong with floating balls of slime! It was out of this world!
School spirit is alive and well, even from a distance!
After asking my staff to create videos to help you get to know them a little better, I figured it was time for me to take my turn. Click on the link below for a short message from me. https://youtu.be/su-FLtX97Bw

Mrs. Webb introduced jamboard to her 2nd grade students today. Students were able to add digital post-it notes to the board with ideas to share in real time as a pre-writing activity in response to a story they all read. How cool is that?!
