Late start
Today was a great first day of school, and we look forward to a year full of fun and learning! Thank you for your patience with student drop-off and pick-up, and we want to share some safety reminders and one update. Please make sure to follow the signage and systems we have in place at arrival and dismissal in order to keep all our kids safe. The parking lot on Hellman is not a student drop-off or pick-up area, as it is not safe for students to cross the main drop-off lanes to meet their rides. Make sure to use the “bus lane” for student drop-off and pick-up. Students should not arrive on campus prior to 7:30 am. Tomorrow will be a regular dismissal time of 2:40, and students need to be picked up promptly after school. To help with congestion at dismissal time, we will open the south parking lot near the gym on Church street for families to pick up students after school. Especially if your student has PE 6th period, this is a convenient pick-up location. As always, we appreciate your support. Have a nice evening.

Tomorrow is the first day of school for all 6th through 8th grade students. Students may arrive on campus at 7:30 am. Students will report to their homeroom classes when the first bell rings at 7:55, and there will be plenty of staff available to help students get where they need to go. It is a minimum day for all students and dismissal is at 12:24 pm. Lunch will be available in the cafeteria to interested students until 12:45 pm. Parents—please plan to drop off and pick up students at the south lower parking lot on Church or the West front parking lot on Hellman. For our students safety, please follow all signs and be patient with the flow of traffic. We will follow all safety protocol and guidelines for COVID 19, including requiring all students and staff to wear masks indoors. Please make sure to keep your child home if he or she is sick. Our teachers and staff have been busy preparing for a great first week, and we are so excited that it’s almost here. See you tomorrow!
