Frontline Quick Start Guides
The Absence Management system can be accessed via phone or web
To access via phone, call 1-800-942-3767 and enter your information. Your user name will be your 10 digit phone number and your pin will be the last 5 digits of your social security number.
To access via the web, go to frontline.education.com. After your new hire meeting, you will be entered into the payroll system and Frontline. Once you are entered into Frontline, you will receive an email invitation to create an account. You will need to follow the steps in the email to create your user name and password.
Certificated and Classified Employees
Did you know that you are able to report an absence today for any future date in the current school year? The system is available 24 hours per day / 7 days a week. If you know you are going to be absent in the future, please report your absence immediately, there is no need to wait.
Absence Guidelines
Who should report their absences?
ALL CONTRACTED EMPLOYEES, CERTIFICATED, CLASSIFIED AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES, MUST RECORD THEIR ABSENCES IN FRONTLINE.
SUBSTITUTES
Additional Substitute Teacher information:
Please be sure to keep your credential/permit up to date. Once your credential/permit expires, you will no longer be able to secure jobs in Frontline.
The SubFinder system will not contact you for jobs if your credential or permit has expired. In addition, if you are being requested for a job and the job is after your expiration date, the teacher will get a message stating that there is a conflict with the substitute and he/she will not be allowed to select you as a requested substitute.
After you complete the on-line renewal with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing and have received an e-mail with your confirmation, please email JoAnne Pomierski in HR at jpomierski@csd.k12.ca.us. Once the confirmation has been received by our office, your substitute information will be updated immediately.
If you are in a long term sub position with another district, please email JoAnne Pomierski in HR so that you will not be removed from the sub list.
