Attendance

Central School District believes that regular attendance plays an important role in student achievement. Children who attend school on a regular basis perform better academically and their opportunities for future success increase.

Bullying Prevention

Central School District recognizes the harmful effects of bullying on student well-being, student learning, and school attendance.   If you believe that your child is experiencing bullying at school, reach out to your child’s teacher and school administration for support.

Community Resources

Family Experiencing Homelessness
(McKinney-Vento)

The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act for Homeless Children and Youth entitles all homeless school-aged children to the same free and appropriate public education that is provided to non-homeless students.  If your family is currently experiencing homelessness, please reach out to your school site’s counselor or Parent and Community Involvement Coordinator (PCI) for support.

Home/Hospital Instruction

Home/Hospital Instruction (HHI) provides the opportunity for a student to continue his/her current educational program while under a temporary disability that makes attendance in regular day class or an alternative education program impossible or inadvisable.

Independent Study

Intra\Interdistrict Transfers

25-26 Inter and Intra District Transfers will be available at school sites or the district office starting February 12, 2025. Families will be notified of transfer status beginning June 1, 2025.
